I am a really new youtuber and I need a good recommendation on a mic for gaming videos because I'm using my mic on my wireless earbuds (which obviously is very good) so I was wondering what a good mic for a decent price is.
My Sennheiser G4's are much more robust (locking mics and I can swap out rechargeable AA's all day) but for social media videos or anything where we just need to move sound around without cables (wireless headphones, hops to cameras for sync/reference) the wireless go is solid.
So, TIL mic lockers are an actual thing and not just a term. Mine are multiple places, the lesser used ones sit on my desk, the ones with huge cases are up against the wall, and my dynamic mics are in my laptop bag.

The 414 is great on pretty much anything - toms, overhead/room mics for drums, acoustic and electric guitar, bass cabs, vocals, you name it. See if you can get your hands on a second one and you'll be set.
