When I boot up the WIRES-X software I see an error “not found audio device”. Why does this happen and how do I fix it? The WIRES-X software is not getting the "ok" from your computer that something is connected to your computers mic jack. Typically you can connect any earpiece to your mic input jack and this should resolve the issue.
