Full Duplex Base Station rigs. Non Full Duplex smaller rigs that can be used mobile or as portable. Many of the rigs are discontinued.

The FT-290 is the best portable VHF transceiver ever built. Maybe it's successor the FT-290RII is better, I never tried, but it is much harder to find. These things cost only a few bucks because nobody seems to like them as they are old-fashioned and have no fancy functions.
