I've tried installing the drivers from the Yaesu site as well as the latest Silicon Labs drivers and still cannot get the dual com ports to be recognized when the USB cable is plugged in and the radio is turned on.
27 lut 2022 · The USB interface provides for Rig Control and an Audio Codec for the radio's internal soundcard. This method requires a Virtual Com Port driver, which can be downloaded from the radio manufacturer's website.
27 paź 2016 · The drivers you are looking for are the: FT-991/ SCU-17 USB Driver (Virtual COM Port Driver) (3.74 MB). Some users might have a USB to serial converter based on the chips (Prolific, FTDI). These drivers will not work with the 991/991a. You need to download and install the Yaesu drivers.
If audio devices are detected, but no serial COM ports with the assigned numbers are shown, then it’s likely due to your system missing the drivers for the radio’s USB-to-serial bridge or radio’s USB cable not being connected.
11 lis 2018 · When windows detects a new hardware device it then looks at the available drivers and uses the best fit. If the radio is connected to the PC prior to the Yaesu drivers being installed a generic driver will be used. Best action is to delete the current driver association with the radio comm ports.
