19 paź 2016 · Installation Manual. Installing the virtual COM port driver software on a computer makes possible CAT communication via a USB cable to the SCU-17 or an compatible transceivers. This will allow computer control of TX (PTT, KEY, FSK), and the audio In/Out interface (except the FT-891). The COM port is also used for updating the transceiver firmware.
11 lis 2018 · I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit and am able to run the latest version of PCC downloaded from the Yaesu website without any special settings. Ham Radio Deluxe also works just fine with the updated driver.
9 maj 2022 · I'm trying to wire up an external mic with PTT and a speaker to my Yaesu FT-250R to basically use as a VHF base station when I'm not mobile. Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere a description of how to wire that up. The FT-250R has a single 3.5 mm TRRS plug for connecting an external mic/speaker.

If the PC does not already have the FTDI Drivers installed, please follow the FTDI installation guide and download the appropriate driver for your operating system.
