Rating: 2020-05-26. A solid mic, if you EQ properly. Time Owned: more than 12 months. The MH-31b can sound decent with the proper settings. On Yaesu FTDX 3000 (and similar radios), please try the following settings for the compressed mic menus, which are 159 to 176 on the FTDX3000:
Don't let the bad reviews put you off this fantastic microphone. It looks good on the desk and I have had unsolicited reports of great audio with it connected to my FT950. Spend some time setting up your radio to suit it and the results will look after themselves.
22 mar 2022 · I have not specifically used the M100 but no amateur grade mic should cost that much. What kind of radio are you using? Does it have internal adjustable mic EQ, compression and other settings to accommodate different mics?
