21 lis 2023 · WSJT-X complains that there is an error in his audio input device. I logged in to his PC, verified his settings, and tried everything I could think of but my luck wasn't any better than his. I figured I'd start by posting here to see if anyone else has had this same problem.

4 gru 2022 · There's two things that might have gone wrong: broken cable (that's literally the most common reason), missing components on the device, or. completely disfunctional USB stack on the device. In both cases, a hardware issue that we can't help you solve. Share.
13 maj 2019 · Yes, I'm using a USB cable from PC to the radio. Using Ham Radio Deluxe for CAT (configured as FT991A), and using the internal sound card via the Yaesu drivers. I had CAT working fine, and WSJT-X was receiving fine, and putting the radio into transmit, but no signal transmitting.
I've tried installing the drivers from the Yaesu site as well as the latest Silicon Labs drivers and still cannot get the dual com ports to be recognized when the USB cable is plugged in and the radio is turned on.
26 lis 2018 · Once the wrong driver is installed it can be very difficult to uninstall. The correct driver can be downloaded from the radio manufacture’s website. Once the driver is properly installed and the radio connected the driver can be found in the Windows Device Manager as shown in Figure 1.
20 cze 2023 · As soon as the Remote Desktop Connection was established, the audio devices from HRI-200 (speaker and mic) disappear in the device manager. Probably, the remote connection tries to find any audio configuration and use it to transfer audio to RDP client.
