20 gru 2019 · The Yaesu MD-100A8X is plug and play with the FTDX100 and almost all Yaesu owners love the mike: https://www.eham.net/reviews/view-product?id=1151 I own one and it does sound better than the 101 hand mic. However, any mic can sound great on the 101 if you spend the time to properly adjust the FTDX101 EQ, AMC,ALC,TX Bandwidth.
Yaesu's high-performance M-100 can be very effectively operated with punchy transmit audio in DX and contest operation. They are recommended for all voice modes from SSB to C4FM!

22 mar 2022 · I'm running a FTDX101D and want a desk microphone. I'm considering a M-70, but some believe the M-100 to be better. How much better is the quantitative answer I'm looking for. The qualitative audio response is less important. I don't transmit from an anechoic room and I don't want to sound like Casey Kasem or other famous DJ.
