That's why a lot of people like the Wishblade better. But again, I personally like that the Cricut doesn't have to be hooked up to a computer, it's smaller and my DH just got it on sale for $199. You'll get all sorts of pros and cons for each here so weigh it out and then you'll decide which is best for you.

31 lip 2000 · The Xyron/Wishblade is a desktop cutter that connects to your personal computer. Using the Wishblade software, just type or insert the image you want to cut, size it, rotate it to fit your project, insert your paper into Wishblade and cut it out!
29 lis 2009 · The Xyron Wishblade is wonderful, as it cuts the same as the Cricut Machine in most cases, and is also much cheaper in the long run. However, it does have a tiny disadvantage.
For scrapbookers and crafters craving more control and flexibility, Xyron has a versatile product called the WishBlade Personal Media Cutter. The WishBlade does require a computer in order to function.
