I verified with comcast that this number is a scam. The Comcast representative suggested they could be getting data from an unrelated data breach- but it seems more likely the people running the scam have access to the appointment info or are being fed the info by someone at Comcast.

19 mar 2021 · Just received a phone call scam where they said they were xfinity comcast and wanted to update our modem and discount our bill. Oh, all we had to do after the fake update to get our discounted $40 dollars off each month was send them $249.
