Sedum 'Xenox' PP16888 is a broadleaf deciduous perennial cactus / succulent with burgundy and green foliage. In summer pink flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens.
Xenox is a Dutch ice plant variety bred by a very skillful breeder of perennials Hubertus Gerardus Oudshoorn. It was selected from cross-pollinated seedlings of sedum telephium in 2003. The new plant is notably compact – makes shorter stem of only about 25 cm, and produces dark red leaves.
Choose to propagate by hand, you can cut it into 2 in. branches for cuttings, which will easily root. During the flowering season, green moss sedum also produces small, beautiful yellow or pink flowers, adding to its ornamental value. Due to the special nature of plants that are difficult to preserve, we will not be responsible once they are sold.
