14 lis 2020 · Got my Xbox Series X setup and hooked up my Xbox branded external 12TB WD_Black D10 Game Drive HDD to play all my back catalogue. It all works fine, but when I turn the xbox off the HDD keeps spinning up for 5 or so seconds every minute or so and never goes to sleep.
As per the title, my Xbox Series X constantly turns on and off the attached USB hard drive when in standby with instant-on enabled. The setting "Turn off storage when console is off" is also enabled. With energy saving mode enabled, the USB hard drive turns off and stays off until I turn my console back on.
Hi everyone, is it normal that during night my xbox series x does that "clock" thing like it does when you turn it on and the fan starts spinning? I ask this because I always do a full shutdown and I don't think the fan should start spinning.
I have a series x with a seagate 8tb game drive hub connected as well as a 500gb Samsung t3 SSD. Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that the seagate drive is spinning up and being accessed while playing games off of my internal SSD or my samsung external SSD.
Try the solution below if a disc is stuck in the disc drive and won't come out: Restart the Xbox console. Press the eject button next to the disc slot. Use the controller to open the guide. Select Home, highlight the inserted disc, and press the X button to eject the disc.
