I had an issue with the HDMI port that I damaged accidentally (I selected display issue as the reason for repair, even though it's clearly damaged). I'm worried that they're just going to send it back saying it was accidental damage and that it isn't covered under my warranty.
If it's in warranty, they'll send it out for repair or replacement. Out of warranty, like me, and the only option is buying a replacement and waiting 2-3 weeks for it to show up. Otherwise, buy a new Series X for $500.
Becareful with xbox repair centers, they definitely not really checking the XSX's and repairing them properly. The 2nd one from them is coming from KY. Not sure if it will be new or another refurbished one. If this one shows up Broken as well, then time for the good Ole BBB complaint.
