11 lip 2020 · This applies to xbox store downloads and CONTINUOUS "fails" at install/download, where other games/apps download/install without issue. After EXHAUSTIVE chats with MS support and no resolution I found a way to fix the issue.
18 maj 2023 · I'm unable to install Gaming Services on Windows 11 on my new Laptop. I have tried many of the suggestions on here but have not had any success with any. The error code I receive in the Microsoft Store is 0x80070490. Both the store and Xbox apps are logged into the same account.
Try update the Xbox app. If you've already done that, try sign out and sign back in on the Xbox app. If you've tried both, then it's a problem with your laptop and you need to reinstall the OS. I've ran into this problem a few times before, and after I reinstalled Windows, it started working again.
