I used to set Windows updates to lower bandwidth to not bother me while gaming. But since recently Xbox Game Pass for PC app thingy uses the Windows update speed limiter for itself too. I now set bandwidth to max and poof Xbox app downloaded a game at 90MB/s.

10 maj 2024 · There is no fix, It is just that Xbox displays download speed as MB/s (Megabits per second) and most other speed checking sites use Mbps (Megabyte per second) one Bit and one Byte. They are not the same 261 Mbps = 32.625 MB/s.
Just found a fix for slow downloads from microsoft store! Delivery Optimization - > Advanced Options -> Put download limits to 100%. You have to enable the limiter, that is the key. Seems to be a bug as if you unselect the limits (should be unlimited), it still applies the bandwidth limits. I hope this works for others, it worked for me.

My download speed from Xbox app increased after I switched that value to "normal" with command below: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal. Pause and resume the download in xbox app.
