I’ve been looking for something to remote play on my Mac for since getting a Series S and one cast is yet to support the new gen. I just play streaming still near the Xbox as its just so I can play whilst my wife watches shit TV - seems to work just fine in close proximity.

There's an open source utility ('360 support' or smn) to get Xbox controllers working, and in its manual PowerA controllers are specifically listed as "incompatible". You're better off with a Bluetooth gamepad:)

Sign in to your MS account, your consoles should show up (if they don't, make sure you "Enable remote features" on your xbox). Try playing a game! It seems to pick up bluetooth controllers (at least xbox controllers) just fine, I also tested a wii u pro controller through an 8bitdo USB receiver and that worked too and was automatic.
