So that's one big difference that will likely impact everyone trying to connect 360 to a modern TV. Personally though I would stick with a slim 360; better cooling, less noise, more reliable, 250GB to 320GB HDD etc.

For a first 360, I’d go with the Slim. It’s quieter, has a bigger hard drive and optical out for surround sound. Plus you won’t have to research motherboards or models because all Slims are good. The elite is nice, the slim is also nice. I have the S, glossy too. Just get whichever suits your budget/size preferences.
26 lip 2013 · The major difference between the Elite and the Arcade is the presence of a Hard drive. While the Arcade does have a small amount of on board memory, it isn't much. Additionally, the Elite comes with a Headset and Ethernet cable.
I would go with the S because you get the optical port should you need it and an extra usb port on the back. I also think the S model just looks better as well, it keeps the design of the original 360 while E model looks like an Xbox One.
