24 kwi 2019 · I read that using the Wireless Display xbox one app, i should be able to connect my laptop to my xbox over wifi. But I can't. When i press win+p and try and connect to my xbox display (it shows up), it never works.

Locate the Xbox from the Win 10 Connect panel (Win + P) When viewing the Wireless Display app on the XBSX, I do not see the PC listed as an allowable device (nor is it in the blocked list). I have tried: Completely powering down both PC and Xbox. Renaming Xbox, powering down/rebooting.

If it's supported, start the Wireless app on the XBox, then use Windows+P, select "Connect to a Wireless Display". Your XBox should show up in the list. As far as I know, you don't need to be on WiFi or have WiFi on your computer to have this work.
