I've been buying KoRn and Slipknot CDs recently and don't have a way to rip them to my xbox, I know Groove Music is a way but it doesn't exist in the Microsoft store. my dad already bought a CD Ripper/Burner but I wanna see if there is another way.

Ripping occurs at a faster speed than regular playback. it is possible the media has issues being read at the higher rate of speed. I just burned a 66 minute long DRM-free album from Zune to CD, then ripped it on my MW3 console. No issues.
Now the thing that works is: I can pop a CD in the xbox and select "rip CD" (german interface, but still) it seems to be doing that just fine. I found out through google that you can rip exclusively onto the harddrive of the xbox, not a USB or something. so far so good.
