There’s a phishing scam going around at the moment. Scammers are spoofing the Microsoft email address and want you to click the link in the email to ‘sign in’. You won’t actually be signing in, you’ll be providing the scammers with your information.
19 sie 2024 · I'm trying to play some old original Xbox games on it and those won't work unless I sign in. Every time I sign in I get errors 8015d003 or 8015d000 even though I'm using the correct email and password. I did the Xbox Live network test and it completes successfully.
A popular tactic of criminals is the "fake order" scam. The way it works is that you get a message, usually in email or text, that appears to be a routine confirmation for an order. Of course, you never ordered whatever product or service it's confirming.

Check your Microsoft account security to see if you see any unusual logins. If you don’t see what’s in the email then it’s a phishing email. Always check the account itself instead of relying on the email and replying to it. Scammers are getting more crafty with making their emails seem legit.
