Xbox 360 controller works on M1. Apple Silicon. Decided to make a post on this because I couldn’t find the information online. I had an Intel Macbook Pro on which I occasionally gamed with an Xbox 360 controller, requiring a third-party driver which has been discontinued. I have since bought and M1 Macbook Air.
