WWF-VIET NAM. World Wide Fund for Nature in Viet Nam (WWF-Viet Nam) is recognised as the leading conservation organisation in the country, bringing solutions and support to the government and other key players to meet the country’s development challenges.
WWF works with Viet Nam’s communities to find ways to conserve the country’s lush landscapes and threatened wildlife. This means helping them establish and maintain sustainable livelihoods, pursue efforts to stop illegal wildlife trade, and conserve the intact forest.

WWF was one of the first international non-government organizations to work in Viet Nam. In 1985, WWF began working on a national conservation strategy and since then, has worked closely with the Vietnamese Government and local partners on a diverse range of environmental issues, implementing numerous field activities across the country.
