31 mar 2012 · Here is a quick reference on the codes used by the manufacturers of the S84/98 III field bayonet before and during WWII. S codes used on bayonets between years 1934 - 1937. S/155 - E.u.F. Hörster Waffenfabrik, Solingen. S/172 - Carl Eickhorn Stahlwarenfabrik, Solingen.
