WVU Student Email. When you are admitted to WVU, you will receive a letter with instructions for accessing your MIX Gmail email account. Claim your Login at login.wvu.edu. Enter your name, date of birth and the WVU ID provided on your acceptance letter.

If you are a former student, you can access your MIX email by visiting mix.wvu.edu/gmail and entering your Login credentials. Former students will not be able to access their MIX Gmail through the WVU Portal.
The email address format for employee MIX accounts is username@MIX.wvu.edu. Employees may automatically forward their MIX account to their O365 account using global forwarding or automatic forwarding rules. Employees may use IMAP/POP to access MIX using their O365 account.

This includes such services as social media, bill payment, banking, etc. WVU employees who believe they were mistakenly included in the accounts scheduled for deletion should email ITSHelp@mail.wvu.edu .
