28 mar 2015 · I used Wudtone Hot Auburn on a stripped Squire CV50 Tele pine body. I found it easy to use but would have liked larger bottles as there was only just enough. The colour is nice and vibrant but came out a bit blotchy, possibly because it was a stripped body and not fresh wood.

I love the fact that they're a Welsh company. It says on there that there's no need for laqcuer and no sanding sealer.

18 lip 2020 · I ordered the Wudtone Body Finishing Kit in Carmine Gypsy and it arrived today. I was shocked that the kit was three tiny 50ml bottles that are only filled about half way. Hopefully a little goes a long way and it's enough to do a whole tele body.
These have been the accepted ways to finish guitars since the 1950′s and nothing much has changed, largely because they produce thick, consistent looking results, quickly. At Wudtone we have developed our own method of finishing to maximise the integrity, resonance, feel and tone of a guitar.
Trying to decide between an oil based polyurethane, tung oil, or wudtone. I feel like having just the tung oil might not be enough protection, while a polyurethane might kill the tone a bit from the black korina. I was also considering a tung oil and true-oil top coat, and just polishing it up.
