23 mar 2018 · I have a problem with the camera app on a Microsoft Surface (bought it 2-3 months ago). When I open it, everything seems OK, the two cameras (front and back) seem to be working fine (no black screen or anything), but when I try to click on the icon to take a picture, I get this error code: "0xA00F424F <PhotoCaptureFileCreationFailed> (0x80131500)".
22 maj 2019 · I would suggest you to try re-installing the Camera app and check if that helps. Press Windows + X key and select Windows PowerShell (Admin). Now type in the command: Get-AppxPackage *camera* | Remove-AppxPackage. Restart the PC. Once the PC restarts download and install the app from Microsoft store.
