I remember the 3rd party TTS software and addon had a system where the addon sent quest texts to chat and read them from there.
The Wow Quest Text Reader application will send a Shift-F11 or Shift-F12 command (for updating the data, this must be configured properly see installation instructions) and then a Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V command to copy this data to the clipboard, where it can be read using text-to-speech.
This project contains a CLI (Command Line Interface) tool that generates Text-to-Speech (TTS) audio files for World of Warcraft quests and gossip texts. The tool uses data fetched from a local MySQL database and the ElevenLabs TTS API to generate the audio files.
