8 sie 2021 · When I save a microsoft word document as a pdf, the fonts change. I am using "source sans pro" in my word text, but this changes to the "arial" font in Acrobat pdf. I have tried embedding the fonts but this does not help.

Select the Conversion Settings profile you want to use and then click on Advanced Settings. Switch to the Fonts section and tick "Embed all fonts" (if it's not ticked already).
7 sty 2017 · When I save my Word document as PDF, the word document changes. The changes which happen are: insertion of an extra table, and change in margin on that same page. The pdf looks like the word document as it looks after I have saved it as a pdf.

4 wrz 2022 · As you have mentioned above that the text font changes on converting Word file to PDF, it seems that you are not using Adobe PDF maker. Could you please share the steps you do to convert the file? Also, confirm the name and version of the Adobe application installed on your machine.
Make sure you activate the checkbox PDF/A-1a-- this will guarantee compliance with the PDF/A-1a standard which requires all fonts to be embedded. This way the files display and print the same across all platforms (The 'A' in PDF/A means the file meets the 'archiving' standard.)
