6 gru 2023 · Just go in the Bnet app settings, and specify the download speed limit (if I recall correctly, it is listed in kb/s so I set in my case 80’000kb/s for either game and pre-patch content). In your case, I would suggest to set this limit at around 50’000kb/s, which result in downloads around 50MB/s.

3 cze 2023 · I’m trying to download WoW on a new pc but the download speed is extremely slow. I tried everything that was suggested by blizzard support, as well as reinstalling battlenet, and disabling my antivirus and firewall, but nothing seems to work.
Bandwidth settings have no limits or any schedule but still it’s been extremely slow. It starts rather fast when downloading an update begins but soon after download speed crawls down to only few KB/s.
13 cze 2023 · When there is a wow update, the ‘initializing’ phase of the download is very slow. This process uses my internet @ 500kb/s and downloads about 200mb. Then the ‘downloading’ phase starts and uses my full internet speed and downloads a further 150mb, in the case of the latest patch/hotfix being small.
He had no issue downloading WoW Classic, but when he tries to download Retail WoW it gets stuck on initialising. He left this overnight and it did not resolve. 7 lis 2023 · Anyone else experiencing extreme slow Initializing in Battle.net today, Nov. 7th ? The initializing zipped along quite fast until it reached around 250 MB of 442 MB, then it bogged down to a crawl. It’s taken 30+ minutes to download another 30 MB, from 250 to 280MB.
