My favourite location to use AH as you can go from mail box to auction house while still mounted, and preaty much anywhere else in the city without being dismounted. You can even travel up the centre totem pole without being dismounted if you go one rise at a time making the city a great place if you are leveling a crafting profession.

This is the Major City in Outland, added in the Burning Crusade. It's half wrecked, and holds refugees in the Lower City. There are portals to other major cities here, whether you are Alliance or Horde. But unfortunately, there is no Auction House, or Class Trainers in the city.
