She became a part of the GWR family in 2009, when she was confirmed as the world’s shortest teenager living (female) at 61.95 cm (2 ft). Two years later, on her 18th birthday, Jyoti was measured again.
In 2009, she was first found to be the shortest teenager living (female) measuring only 61.95 cm (2 ft) tall. In 2011, standing at 62.8 centimeters (2 ft 3⁄4 in), she was re-measured and announced as the shortest living woman.
On 16 December 2011, she turned 18 – at which point she took the title of shortest living woman (mobile). Jyoti was measured at 62.8 cm (2 ft 0.7 in) tall. She had grown a bit since she was 15 but was still short enough to claim the record.
Measured by doctors on the show, she was found to be just 61.95 cm (2 ft) tall, confirming her as the Shortest living teenager (female). Remarkably, at just 5.4 kg (12 lb), she weighed only 4 kg (9 lb) more than her birth weight.
