On 16 December 2011, she was named the World’s Shortest Woman by the Guinness World Records in a ceremony at her home in Nagpur. She was measured by orthopaedic consultant Dr Manoj Pahukar at the Wockhardt Superspeciality Hospital in Nagpur, along with Gunniess World Records adjudicator Rob Molloy.
