The most elaborate scam I have ever seen. I was applying for jobs and one day r/Zendesk 's Talent of Operations messaged me on my phone, saying they were interested and wanted an interview. It sounded legit since I managed to find this person on LinkedIn, working for Zendesk.
If they want to only text or chat via app (telegram for example), it is a scam. If they send you a check to purchase equipment from a specific company of their choosing, it is a scam. Try to find the company on state registry sites, try to find reviews.
