At age 15 years and six months, an applicant may complete the knowledge test online at Ohio BMV - Online Services; or go to any driver exam station to take the knowledge test and vision screening, to begin the temporary permit process.
How to Get an Adult Driver’s License in Ohio. Your probationary driver’s license expires after 1 year or after your 18th birthday (whichever comes first).
