2024 - Lake Mary, Florida becomes the first team from Florida to win the Little League World Series Championship, defeating Asia-Pacific representative Chinese Taipei, 2-1 in 8 innings.
The United States holds a total of 37 Little League titles won by 14 different states. Among the states, California holds the record for most titles (8) and most U.S. titles (16), while Florida has appeared in a total of 23 world series' and 8 championship games and won their first in 2024.

In 1947, the board of directors for the original Little League decided to organize a tournament for all known Little League programs (there were 17) and called it the National Little League Tournament. It was later renamed the Little League Baseball World Series.
10 paź 2024 · In 1958 the Little League announced that four foreign teams will play in its tournament; one of those teams, representing Monterrey, Nuevo León in Mexico, would win that year's championship. Later, teams from around the world would compete, and win the Little League World Series.
