"The Ghoul's Creature Feature" was a hosted horror show with Ron Sweed as "The Ghoul" on Saturdays at 11:30 pm on WKBD-TV, Channel 50 Detroit, Michigan from 1975 until 1976.

I thought I might share some very vivid memories from WKBD's Creature Feature show. I am 31 and finishing my Masters at Wayne State in cinema studies and perhaps might even teach a course on the genre of Horror (as an adjunct) this winter.
2 maj 2002 · The Ghoul, as has been mentioned repeatedly, got his start in Cleveland (the mistake by the lake, he called with great affection) on WKBF-TV 61. The first place he expanded to was WKBD-TV 50 in Detroit. It wasn't until he started showing good numbers in Detroit that Kaiser officials decided to take The Ghoul national.
"MasTerrorpiece Theatre" was a hosted horror movie special with Tom Ryan as "Count Scary" and Ron Sweed as "The Ghoul" presenting a Halloween special WKBD-TV, Channel 50 Detroit, Michigan on 31 October 1996.
