The Ghoul (Ron Sweed) heir to Ghoulardi's (Ernie Anderson) fright wig and Goatee carried on the outrageous Shock Theater Tradition in Cleveland from 1971-1975 on WKBF Channel 61, in the 80's in WCLQ Ch 61, then again in the 1990's on WBNX Channel 55. Also in Detroit on WKBD Ch 50.
However, even with channel 2 picking up the Fox affiliation, WKBD kept Fox's cartoon block [[Fox Kids) for a few more years, even after affiliating with UPN, until WADL acquired that block. On the CBS side, they were having difficulties in finding another local station.

22 sty 2006 · If I recall correctly, the Ghoul's show did not originate out of Toledo, it was taped in Southfield at the WKBD (Kaiser Broadcasting then) studios. He later moved to Cleveland and supplied both markets from a studio in Cleveland.
