Season eight of Wentworth went into production in October 2019. It consists of twenty episodes, [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 26 ] [ 27 ] titled "Redemption", and featured the first ten episodes in 2020, while the final episodes were broadcast in 2021.
I decided to watch the final episode of season 8, since I figured I never remember what happened in the last season anyway, so it'll be a refresher, and then I'll see if at the end of the episode, it takes me automatically to S9 which according to articles online is supposed to be on Netflix.
