3 gru 2018 · One of those key teaching moments is found in the preface and epilogue to Christ’s parable of the vineyard. Christ’s story is framed with a single, simple proverb: “Many who are first will be last; and the last, first” (Matthew 19:30).
In verse 18 we read: “And be not drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.” Now, we studied that in the context, but it raised the question. We know we’re not to be drunk, we know the Bible forbids us to be drunken, that that is a sin, that that is a part of our past life.
