2 sty 2024 · With some difficulty and no ACPI support (lol), I was able to get a Ryzen 5th gen Windows XP PC up and running. The best part? I have very little driver incompatibilities! LAN, sound, graphics and USB 3 all work. thanks to the fan-made Windows XP Integral Edition, coming with drivers out of the box to help install XP on newer platforms.
15 gru 2021 · This may surprise you, but unless you use 64-bit Windows XP, which you won’t because of its bad compatibility, there is no reason to put more than 4 GB of RAM in a Windows XP retro gaming PC. A 32-bit operating system can address a maximum of 4 GB of RAM.
The best parts are the best for XP, when everything runs smooth is how its supposed to be! I use a 2600k, GTX 960, 4GB ddr3 1600 ram, 7200rmp hard drives, and a Audigy 2 zs sound card... I love it, everything is smooth and snappy.
