16 lut 2020 · I finally managed to install Windows 10 on my Surface RT, and for now it's great! It's a shame that Microsoft didn't update the tablet officially, and that this version is so old that many newer apps don't work, but it's better than nothing! Some useful informations I learned through the process:
7 wrz 2021 · A Windows RT 8.1 version of Microsoft Edge would require a lot of work, as there is no support in the Chromium codebase for ARMv7.

29 mar 2020 · You can only install apps from the Windows store. No third party programs can be installed on the Surface rt 8.1. Nor can you upgrade it to Windows 10.
This process will overwrite the current Windows 8 RT operating system on the Surface RT tablet. I have tested these steps on my own device (as shown in this video), but I am not responsible if you damage or brick your device.
