15 lis 2018 · Even if I select the Windows Aero theme, it still remains as Windows 7 basic. How do I fix this? Also, hardware acceleration seems to be not turned on and I can't change that in display settings.
6 wrz 2009 · Hack to Force Enable Aero in Windows 7. Windows 7 has a nice little Windows Aero troubleshooting tool to find and fix problems with transparency and other visual effects, and then enable and turn on Aero support (and also Aero Peek) in Windows 7.
28 paź 2009 · As far as enabling Aero in your Windows 7 guest is concerned, have you installed VMware Tools in the Windows 7 guest? If yes, check these: 1. Make sure that you are using an Aero theme. 2. Go to system properties and re-run the Windows experience index tool (a.k.a "Rate this computer" button) after installing VMware Tools in the guest.
3 lis 2016 · I installed VMware Tools on a Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 VM, the screen resolution and the performance was better after the installation, but i did not have aero. Specs Host: OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64. Processor: Intel Core i3 530. RAM: 2.00 GB. Graphics: Intel HD Graphics (integrado en el procesador y con el ultimo driver) Brought in: 2010
Try downloading the VMware Tools ISO that corresponds to your VMware version from here and manually run it within your Windows 7 VM.
