8 lip 2019 · We had to upgrade a machine to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Now our Legacy Windows 2000 machine cannot access a shared drive on the Windows 2000 machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
31 paź 2017 · Recently made a hard decision to upgrade to Windows 10, a trend unstoppable. After that I reinstalled VirtualBox and import all of my VMs (Win2K+Win7). Found out that Windows 2000 guests can't access my share on the Windows host anymore.
26 kwi 2022 · I have installed SMB 1.0/CIF File sharing support on the user’s laptop to allow me to map the Windows 2000 network drive on his Windows 10 PC (build 19043). The drive will work fine for a day or so, then stop working.
4 mar 2013 · SMB1 support not installed on Windows 10 host/server. Since Windows 10, the required SMB v1.0 support for Windows 9x/2000/XP is no longer preinstalled. To enable it, go to classic Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on/off and check SMB v1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support.
10 kwi 2020 · You can't downgrade to Windows 2000 pro from Windows 10. If you have the install disk and windows 2000 key, you could try a clean install. The problem is usually drivers.
17 cze 2024 · heya! this took me a hot minute to setup (about a month) but ive transformed windows 10 22h2 to windows 2000 almost perfectly! found it on archive.org, the software itself still works and u can run it but its not usable anymore. Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0, ive used it several times and it has so far worked perfectly.
If you are asking if you can upgrade from Windows 2000 to Windows 10 the answer is no. They are both different OS and as they are 15 years apart I doubt any programs used in Windows 2000 are compatible. If I have it wrong then please explain more.
