Discussion. I picked up BF3 on disk for pc a few days ago as I remembered loving playing this game when it came out and recently got a PC for gaming. I have been trying to get the game to work however it keep trying to install a Origin update and not working.
I just got a new PC with Windows 11 and I can't install BF3 from the EA App. It tries to install DirectX (which shouldn't be needed since Win11 comes with built in DirectX 12) and fails. Anyone has had this problem? Any hint on how to solve it?
