But when I go to run the .exe install, I get the following prompt: "Install this product to the selected Visual Studio Instance(s):" - but my installed instance does not show up for me to select.
6 lis 2021 · My computer recommended I update to Windows 11, so I did. Once I upgraded I could not get SQL to connect to the server I was using. I tried uninstalling to see if reinstalling would help and I get the following error in the log file: Overall summary: Final result: Failed: see details below.
27 mar 2022 · It's certainly possible to install SQL 2019 on Windows 11, but there is a known issue with certain disks where Windows 11 reports a sector size, SQL Server cannot cope with. See this article from Microsoft for workarounds for that issue.
