22 lut 2021 · I successfully installed Windows 10 on a late 2009 iMac and the only thing I couldn't get to work is installing the drivers for the Nvidia 9400 video card. I have tried with different versions from the Nvidia site, but every time I run the setup after a few seconds Windows reboots unexpectedly.
The installation completed and I created a local account in Windows 10; the BootCamp Windows drivers installed without issue. However there was no sound. The audio drivers would not load or work. After a lot of Googling, I learned the audio drivers would not load in UEFI mode.
28 paź 2024 · I could not get the iMac built in sound to work on Windows 10, despite the webcam working. I tried a few things that did not work: Downloaded and installed Bootcamp 6. Tried the Cirrus 4206BCNZ audio drivers for Windows 8 as suggested might work.
12 gru 2017 · Microsoft Windows is designed to use legacy drivers when current drivers are not available or nonexistent. You should use the latest Windows Support Software that Apple has released for your model Mac .
I keep getting this error when trying to install Windows 10. This happens before even selecting the install drive. I can't even get into the OS to install the Bootcamp support software.
