23 maj 2014 · I'm currently trying to set up VirtualBox in host Windows 10 client MacOS Mojave HFS, however, I'm not able to get the menu tool bar on the top line or the icons on bottom of the screen or the menu selection with <right ctrl> Home to appear no matter what fixes I try to apply.

In full screen, the menu options are a hidden in a small bar at the bottom of the screen. Hover over this area and the menu will pop open. You can also press Host key + Home, where Host key is Right Ctrl on Windows/Linux and Left Command on mac OS.

26 lip 2017 · I fixed it by shutting down Virtualbox and then rebooting the Windows 10 host. It is possible as others have pointed out that some app was keeping the taskbar active, but I couldn't find any such app.
