21 lis 2022 · Step 1: open the Vbox preferences for VMs. Step 2: find the host key. In the example below, it is Ctrl + Alt. Step 3: find the scale shortcut. In the example below, it is Host + C. Which means Ctrl + Alt + C. As a result, Ctrl + Alt + C will show the menu, if it had disappeared due to the scale mode. Share.

11 paź 2008 · Check under VM settings » User Interface. If you're not sure, compare them with the settings of a newly created VM. In any case, post the " <VM>.vbox " and " C:\Users\<username>\.VirtualBox\VirtualBox.xml ", zipped. Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you have working menu bars now, you can use the main Virtualbox window's Machine menu, Add command to re-register the VMs. You'll have to rebuild any Host-Only or Nat Network settings you had, as well as any Preferences changes.

30 sie 2017 · A dirty workaround if using Ubuntu is to shut down all VirtualBox, and then edit the ~/.VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml file. Find the line <ExtraDataItem name="GUI/Toolbar" value="false"/> and change the value to true. If any process were still running when edited the file, the changes will most likely be gone once the processes update the file.
