22 maj 2023 · Try it out to ensure it works: first, completely exit the Origin/EA app, and check it's not idling in the tray. Then, try launching the game from Steam. Steam should run the Origin/EA app and also "feed it" the necessary arguments to have your game launch automatically without you having to perform any extra actions separately.

2 lis 2022 · So many are talking about the issue with games not launching since EA changed from Origin to the new EA app. I couldn’t open battlefield 1 or battlefront 2 but I found an easy fix. Simply go into desktop mode, go to the EA website and sign in with your account, then open the game you’re having issues with (in desktop mode).
Choose your platform. Select I can’t connect to game server. Check the server icon and the live X feed for updates. If the server icon for your platform is green and says “up”, the server is online. In this case, you can check for common account issues to troubleshoot your connection.
