EA App not starting on windows 10. Try to reinstall, but this doesn`t help, app not working, just nothing happens after clicking on app, and if i go in the task manager the only think that i see is EABackround Service . CM edit: moved to correct board, edited some more detailed steps.
22 maj 2023 · Try it out to ensure it works: first, completely exit the Origin/EA app, and check it's not idling in the tray. Then, try launching the game from Steam. Steam should run the Origin/EA app and also "feed it" the necessary arguments to have your game launch automatically without you having to perform any extra actions separately.
24 kwi 2023 · How I fixed mine: 1. Install the game through Steam, normally. 2. If you don't already have the EA app installed, install it. Note that the game will not be indicated as "Installed" in the EA app. Yet! 3. Now install the game through the EA app and indicate exactly the folder you installed the game through steam.
31 sty 2024 · What works for me is starting the EA app once separately from Steam then quitting it . Steam doesn't always set it up properly again after an update. Just make sure that "Start with Windows" and "Enable background services" are disabled under Settings -> Application.
Uninstalled EA App and reinstalled it in the same directory as my games using these steps. Uninstalling DAI likely would have worked the same, but would've taken a lot longer to reinstall than the EA app. Added DAI as an exception in my Antivirus Software.
So many are talking about the issue with games not launching since EA changed from Origin to the new EA app. I couldn’t open battlefield 1 or battlefront 2 but I found an easy fix.
12 sie 2024 · Running the EA App as an administrator is the simplest solution you can try if the app is not launching. Other solutions include enabling Unicode 8 language support, deleting the app cache, and checking that your antivirus is not blocking the app.
